  • Upcoming series: EveryDay Heroes

When you hear the word HERO, what do you think of? Your favorite superhero? An athlete or movie star? Maybe someone in your life that has accomplished the impossible. But what if there is a different kind of heroism? What if you could be a hero thanks to the small decisions you make everyday. Join us for the upcoming series, "Everyday Heroes" as we look at how our small everyday decisions can lead to a big impact in peoples lives. Are you ready to be a HERO? Series starts Sunday, June 18th at 10:10am.

  • ServeTuscaloosa

This month we are partnering with our women’s ministry and their annual Hospice Food drive, supporting the Hospice of West Alabama and their inpatient facility, the Helen H. Hahn House. This house provides a homelike space for patients and families while providing quality and loving care to those facing life-limiting illnesses. We want to help families that are staying with their loved ones in the inpatient care by providing items for their family kitchen.

Bring items to Rm. 314 anytime between June 4-25.  We are collecting items such as:

    • Beverages like coffee, tea, bottled water, canned drinks
    • Individual servings of cereal, snack bars, peanut butter or cheese crackers
    • Microwaveable soups and pastas
    • Frozen prepared meals
    • Paper towels, Kleenex, napkins, etc.
If you would like to prepare a fresh meal, contact Hospice directly at (205) 523-0101.
